Gottfred Matthison-Hansen
Johann Gottfred Matthison-Hansen , also Johan or Gotfred , (born November 1, 1832 in Roskilde , † October 14, 1909 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish organist and composer.
Life
The son of Hans Matthison-Hansen had been organist at the German Church in Copenhagen since 1859 . After studying in Leipzig , he became an organ teacher in 1868, a piano teacher in 1884 and a member of the board of directors at the Copenhagen Conservatory in 1900.
Among other things, he composed a concert piece for organ, an organ fantasy, a violin and a cello sonata, a ballad for piano and a piano trio.
