Gottfried Hummel
Gottfried Hummel (born March 2, 1968 in Löffingen ) is a German music teacher , composer and arranger .
Life
In 1988, Hummel graduated from the Droste-Hülshoff-Gymnasium in Meersburg with a major in accordion . From 1990 he studied at the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen and graduated in 1994 with a music teacher diploma. Since then he has been working as a freelance music teacher. In 2000 he founded the Hummel Music School in Löffingen.
Gottfried Hummel has been the conductor of the Trachtenkapelle Hinterzarten since 1998, the conductor of the Tengen town band since 2016 and the conductor of the Buchenbach Music Association as well as the association conductor of the Hochschwarzwald brass band since 2017.

Hummel's compositions and arrangements are played many times in the accordion scene. His arrangements range from folk music and hits to rock, pop and classical music. He is also represented in the field of brass music with compositions and arrangements. As a music teacher, he developed concepts for making music together with players of all ages and levels of difficulty in an accordion orchestra.
