Gottfried Schille

Gottfried Schille (born August 6, 1929 in Dresden , † February 23, 2005 in Leipzig ) was a Protestant theologian, lecturer (New Testament) and author.

Live and act

Gottfried Schille received his education at the St. Afra School in Meißen. He received his doctorate in 1953 at the University of Göttingen with an examination of the liturgical property in the Ephesians , and in 1966 he received his habilitation from the University of Rostock with considerations on early apostolic history .

From 1954 he worked in Lommatzsch-Dörschnitz , from 23 August 1958 as a pastor . From January 21, 1961 he was pastor in Borsdorf near Leipzig and was responsible for the renovation of the Borsdorf church . He worked there until his retirement.

According to his own account, Schille was a part-time lecturer for the New Testament at the Theological Seminary in Leipzig.

Gottfried Schille was married - the couple had three children.
