Gottlieb Leeger

Gottlieb Karl Leeger (born October 17, 1893 in Hemmingen ; † April 2, 1964 in Stuttgart ) was a German politician ( FDP / DVP ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school, Leeger completed an apprenticeship as a baker, which he completed with a journeyman's examination. He passed the master craftsman's examination, worked as an independent master baker in Stuttgart from 1919 and was a member of the board of the Stuttgart bakers' guild from 1929. In 1937 he became deputy head foreman and in 1940 he took over the management of the Stuttgart bakers' guild. Since 1946 he was head master of the Stuttgart bakers' guild and state guild master of the bakery trade in Baden-Württemberg .

politics

Leeger, who joined the DVP after 1945, was a member of the state parliament of Württemberg-Baden from 1950 to 1952 . In 1952 he was elected via the state list to the Baden-Württemberg state parliament, to which he belonged until his death, from 1956 through a second mandate in the Stuttgart 3 constituency. After his death Otto Haag moved up to the state parliament for a few days until the end of the legislative period .
