Gottlieb Wagner (politician)
Georg Gottlieb Wagner (born March 19, 1838 in Massenbach , † after 1894) was a German farmer and politician ( DP ). From 1889 to 1895 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Württemberg Land estates .
Life
Wagner was a Protestant denomination, a farmer and a member of the community council in Großgartach . His only son Albert Wagner and his son Richard Wagner were also farmers and councilors there, and the family continues to run agriculture and viticulture in Leingarten .
In the 1889 election, Wagner ran for office in the Heilbronn constituency. The former constituency member Georg Härle has now started in the Heilbronn Stadt constituency. In the runoff election , Wagner narrowly won against the Heilbronner editor and publisher of the Heilbronner Zeitung Franz Lipp (1855–1937), whose supporters contested the election result unsuccessfully.
