Gottlob Heinrich von Lindenau (born August 18, 1755 in Altenburg ; † July 15, 1830 in Neustädtel ) was the royal Saxon chamberlain, district chief forest master and manor of Polenz near Brandis.

Life

Lindenau was the youngest son of Johann George von Lindenau and became the owner of the Polenz manor. He joined the forestry service in 1776 and was initially a hunting page from the Electorate of Saxony in Dresden and then rose to the position of royal Saxon district forest master. For his 50th anniversary in 1826, his subordinates erected a memorial stone in the form of a granite block on the Auersberg . Since February 23, 1780, Lindenau was a member of the Leipzig Freemason Lodge Minerva to the three palms in Leipzig.

He married Countess Wilhelmine Charlotte Albertine von Einsiedel (* November 20, 1765, † March 4, 1821), daughter of the Minister Detlev Carl von Einsiedel, in Dresden on April 12, 1793 . The marriage remained without male heirs, but the couple had a daughter Sidonie.

Gottlob Heinrich von Lindenau bequeathed his manor Polenz, Gut Albernau and his town house in Neustädtel to his son-in-law, the Saxon major August Gottlieb von Petrikowsky , with the wish that it should continue to be a Lindenau estate, whereupon this from Petrikowsky- Lindenau called. His only daughter Felicie von Petrikowsky-Lindenau (born October 5, 1818) inherited the property. In 1841 she married the head forester Johannes Oskar von Trebra in Neustädtel, whereby this family called itself von Trebra-Lindenau from 1854 with royal approval.
