Gräslikon is a village in the municipality of Berg am Irchel in the Andelfingen district of the canton of Zurich in Switzerland . It is located at the foot of the Irchel on the road between Berg am Irchel and Buch am Irchel .
history
Gräslikon was first mentioned on a document dated May 25, 1254 as Grassilincon . In 1276 there was a documented corridor dispute with a book, in which the Graeslikers are mentioned, who thus owned a community, which means that even then one can assume an organized community. In 1798, after the Helvetic Revolution , the village was incorporated into the Buch am Irchel community. But Gräslikon did not agree with that and they fought to join Berg. In 1845 Gräslikon became a civil parish and in 1855, after the municipality of Berg had initially rejected it, it was added to this. With the new cantonal constitution, the civil parish of Gräslikon was abolished at the beginning of 2010.
