Grødem is a village in the Norwegian municipality of Randaberg in the province of Rogaland .

It is located on the west bank of the Byfjord , just north of Stavanger , which is seen as the suburb of Grødem. The Randaberg community center is two kilometers to the west. Immediately to the south is the location of Dusavika . At the northern end Grødems the developed to the port area bay is Harastadvika . North of the village begins the Byfjord tunnel crossing the Byfjord , through which the European route 39 runs .

In 1974 the Grødem skole was built. It is run in two to three classes with ten grades and is attended by more than 500 students (as of 2020). The Grødem Church, built in 2000, is located on an elevated point above the village .

There are various prehistoric tombs in the vicinity of the village. In addition, there are various military bunker systems that are also under monument protection.
