The Grüder Holz is located between Idstedter See and Langsee in the southwest of the fishing region in northern Schleswig-Holstein ( southern Schleswig ). The forest consists of near-natural beech and acid oak forests . It is characterized by a strongly moving relief with slopes sloping down on all sides.
