biography

The son of northern English musicians released his first single (How Do You Say) I Don't Love You Anymore (1966) at the age of 18 . In the same year he became the lead singer of the band Skip Bifferty , which broke up in 1969 after they recorded a final single as Heavy Jelly . In the meantime, Bell sang in a group called The Gift ; they made some recordings, but these remained unpublished.

After a short interlude with the group Griffin , which brought out two singles, Bell sang from 1970 on Every Which Way , which separated again after an album in 1971. Bell then reunited with John Turnbull and Mickey Gallagher, his old colleagues from Skip Bifferty, who now had their own band called Arc. Together they formed Bell + Arc , which disbanded in 1972 after an album.

In 1972 Graham Bell sang the role of Lover in the orchestral version of the rock opera Tommy . In the same year his first solo album Graham Bell came out.

In the following years Graham Bell tried in various formations to continue his career, temporarily in America. In the late 1980s he sang in Snowy White 's Blues Agency. In 2008 he died of cancer.
