Race course

Shortly after the start, Daniel Díaz (Argentina / Delko Marseille Provence), Jan Petelin (Luxembourg / Differdange), Pello Olaberria (Spain / Euskadi) and Marlon Gaillard (France / France U23 national team) pulled away from the field. As a result, they had a maximum of four minutes ahead. After 35 kilometers, 13 other drivers, including Mathias Frank (Switzerland / AG2R), left the field. After 70 kilometers, they closed the gap to the outliers. Over the course of the day, drivers kept joining the leading group or losing touch with this group.
