Julien Simon (born October 4, 1985 in Rennes ) is a French racing cyclist .

In the 2008 season, Julien Simon drove for the UCI ProTeam Crédit Agricole and, after its dissolution in 2009, switched to the UCI Professional Continental Team Besson Chaussures-Sojasun . For this team he won his first race on the international calendar in 2011 with the one-day race Prueba Villafranca de Ordizia . At the UCI ProTour - stage race Catalonia Tour 2012 , he achieved sprint victories in two daily segments. Also in 2012 he won the one-day races Tour du Finistère , the Grand Prix de Plumelec-Morbihan and the Grand Prix de Wallonie and finished his first Tour de France in 92nd place. At the Grand Prix de Plumelec-Morbihan, he repeated his 2012 victory in 2014. Simon also won a stage of the Tour du Haut-Var in 2017 and the Tour du Doubs in 2018 .
