The Grande Rocheuse is a 4102 m high peak in the Aiguille Verte massif in the French part of the Mont-Blanc group . It has a notch height of 52 meters and a dominance of 0.3 kilometers to the Aiguille Verte. The summit was climbed for the first time on September 17, 1865 by Robert Fowler , Michel Ducroz and Michel Balmat .
The overall difficulties are rated as fairly difficult (ZS) today and III for climbing .
