The Gratlspitze , also the Gratlspitz or the Gratlkopf ( dialect [ kraːd̥l̩ˈʃpiːts ] or [ ˈkraːd̥l̩kxoːpf ]), is a mountain in the Tyrolean part of the Kitzbühel Alps . It joins the Schatzberg to the north .

It has next to 1899  m above sea level. A. high main peak there are two more secondary peaks that give it a distinctive face. The mountain lies between the high valleys of Wildschönau and Alpbachtal .

Due to its exposed location as a single mountain, you have an excellent view from the summit.

The Gratlspitz photographed from Thierbach, Wildschönau , in summer 2010 . On the right the main peak.

Silver mining was carried out on the mountain for many years . Some tunnel entrances and debris (see photo from the Wildschönau site) are still clearly visible today.
