Gregg Araki
Gregg Araki (born December 17, 1959 Los Angeles , California ) is an Asian-American film director and film producer .
He lives openly bisexual and is one of the founders of New Queer Cinema . He studied at the School of Cinema-Television at the University of Southern California and graduated in 1982. He worked as a film critic for the magazine LA Weekly and founded his own production company, Desperate Pictures . Araki became known in particular for his taboo low-cost productions such as the Teen Apocalypse Trilogy .
