The Griffith Peak is a 1,800 m high and rocky mountains in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the Horlick Mountains it rises in the western Wisconsin Range on the north side of the confluence of the Hueneme Glacier into the Reedy Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 after Raymond E. Griffith, cook at Byrd Station in the Antarctic winter 1961 and 1963.
