The Große Dumecke is a 2.9 km long orographically right tributary of the Möhne in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . The stream flows in the urban area of the towns of Rüthen and Warstein, which are part of the Soest district .

The Große Dumecke rises in Drewer , a district of Rüthen at an altitude of 290 m above sea level. NN . From here the stream initially flows in a south-westerly direction. North of the Drew quarry , the stream turns south and passes the quarry in the west. The stream flows east of Belecke at 258 m above sea level. NN on the right in the Möhne. With a height difference of 32 meters, the mean bed slope is 11.0 ‰. The 10.139 km² catchment area is drained through the Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
