The Große Adelberg is a 567 meter high mountain in the central Palatinate Forest .
location
The mountain is located in the district of Annweiler am Trifels north of the settlement area of the core city. To the northeast is the Graefenhausen district . To the east of it lie the Krappenfels and the Mittelberg . The Kleine Adelberg is also to the southwest . On the foothills of the Schinderkopf (493.3 m) to the northwest is the Jung-Pfalz-Hütte, managed by the Jung-Pfalz youth care association .
Connection
Its southern catchment area is bounded by the Bundesstraße 10 and the Landau – Rohrbach railway with the Annweiler am Trifels station . In addition, the Annweiler gymnastics youth center of the Palatinate Gymnastics Association and a pumping station are located in its catchment area .
