Location and surroundings
The small mountain lakes Laufbichlsee , Koblatsee and Engeratsgundsee are located below the big thumb .
Ascent
The summit can be reached as a mountain hike from the Höfatsblick station (1,924 m) of the Nebelhornbahn . It is also the end point of the Hindelanger via ferrata , which leads from the Nebelhorn to the Big Thumb.
