The Great Lindenkopf is a mountain in the ridge of the Taunus , southeastern foothills of the Nickel mountain ( 512.5  m ), at 499  m above sea level. NHN .

It is located in the Oberjosbach district of the Niedernhausen municipality in the Rheingau-Taunus district , naturally in the Wiesbaden Hochtaunus (301.2) and is the highest peak of the Eichelberger Mark .

The position marked here corresponds to the highest point of 499.9  m . In most maps, however, the head, 300 m to the southeast and 498.7  m high, is shown. This was cut down in 2018, as the picture shows, so that you can now see the Feldberg from here . The location can be reached from the circular hiking trail that passes just a few meters to the west (“Eichhorn” marker).

On its southern slope there is a refuge with information about the nature park and a little further below the “Gr. Lindenkopf ”on the eastern outskirts of Oberjosbach.
