The Große Siebersteinteich (also: Großer Siebersteinsteich) is a reservoir near Ballenstedt in the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt . The Sieberstein (s) creek is dammed in it; the receiving waters are the Bode and the Saale .

Because of its size, the pond, which was created in 1793 for the water supply, is considered a dam . The dam is an earth dam with an inner seal. The Kleine Siebersteinteich is located about 1.6 km to the northeast .
