Großosida is a district of the municipality of Gutenborn and is located in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt . The village is located about one kilometer southwest of Zeitz on the White Elster .

history

For the first time, Großosida is found under the name Ozedo in a Zeitzer document from 1147. Ozedo comes from Slavic and means something like ox pasture. On July 1, 1950, Großosida was incorporated into Bergisdorf . In 2012, the residents of the village got together and founded a local history association.
