history

The Zetzschdorf district was first mentioned in a document around 1200. October 30, 1256 is given in the record book by Hst. Naumburg II 285.

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent communities Frauenhain and Kuhndorf were incorporated.

From 1970 until his suicide in 1976, Oskar Brüsewitz was an Evangelical Lutheran pastor in Rippicha ; his grave is behind the Rippicha church in the cemetery.

Districts of the former municipality of Droßdorf were:

  • Frauenhain - located approx. 1 km east of the B 2 .
  • Zetzschdorf - is located approx. 2 km south of Droßdorf and 1 km east of the B 2 .
  • Rippicha is located south of the city of Zeitz on Bundesstraße 2. The place was the residence and sermon place of the evangelical pastor Oskar Brüsewitz , who burned himself to death in 1976 in protest against the conditions in the GDR in Zeitz.

With the local elections on September 27, 2009, a regional reform was implemented that made Droßdorf part of the new community of Gutenborn. Since January 1st, 2010 Droßdorf with its districts as well as Bergisdorf , Heuckewalde and Schellbach with the respective districts belong to the municipality of Gutenborn. Since then, this has belonged to the Droyßiger-Zeitzer Forest Association .
