Great stone grave Crussow

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave in Crussow was a megalithic grave, presumably of the Neolithic beaker culture near Crussow , a district of Angermünde in the Uckermark district ( Brandenburg ). It was probably destroyed in the second half of the 19th century.

location

Leopold von Ledebur states the location as "not far from the Vorwerk ", although it remains unclear which Vorwerk is meant.

description

The facility was still there in 1845. Von Ledebur names a single large stone, the "Hünkenstein", and a nearby hill, the "Hünkenberg". It is unclear whether it was the remains of a grave complex or, as Ledebur said, of two. It is not possible to determine the grave type on the basis of this information.
