description

The complex has a north-east-south-west oriented rectangular barren bed with a length of about 28 m and a width of 8 m. The stone enclosure is still well preserved on the long sides, especially in the southeast. There are two burial chambers in the mound . The first at the northeast end of the bed is an approximately east-west oriented extended dolmen with a length of about 2.5 m and a width of 1.6 m. The two end stones on the narrow sides and two wall stones on the north and one on the south side have been preserved, all of which are still in situ . The eastern wall stone on the south side and the cap stones are missing. The access to the chamber is on the southeast corner. In front of it is a corridor made of two pairs of wall stones, the outer one of which is in alignment with the surrounding stones. The second chamber is a little to the west of the middle of the barren bed. It is a north-east-south-west oriented passage grave of the Holstein Chamber subtype with a length of 3 m and a width of 1.6 m. Four wall stones on the north-western and three on the south-eastern long side as well as the two end stones on the narrow sides have been preserved. All are still in situ. The cap stones are missing. The entrance to the burial chamber, which is marked by a threshold stone, is located between the first and second wall stone on the southeast side, seen from the northeast. In front of it is a corridor made of two pairs of wall stones and two cap stones. According to Sprockhoff, the chamber may not have been built until a later construction phase.
