Steinhagen stone grave

The Steinhagen large stone grave was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Steinhagen in the Rostock district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was destroyed in 1852. The exact location is not known. There is also no information about the orientation, dimensions and type of grave. In the destruction of a partially preserved tons vessel with frans lined bar groups ornament, a dünnblattiges were flint - ax and a narrow chisel flint recovered. The objects are now in the collection of the Archaeological State Museum Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Schwerin .
