The Teufelssteine are located in the north of the Osnabrück district of Voxtrup, southwest of Darum / Gretesch / Lüstringen on a hill in a small wooded area in the angle between the Hase and the Belmer Bach . In 1853 the area of the plant was bought by the state. The area has historically been called Teufelsheide and is now located between a substation in the west, Heideweg and the Löhne – Rheine railway line in the north, an industrial area in the east and the Haseniederung in the south.
description
The well-preserved, east-west oriented chamber is located in an oval border, of which only about a dozen stones have survived. The approximately 12.9 meter long chamber has a clear width of approximately two meters. One of the six capstones and the 14 bearing stones is missing. In the middle of the southern long side, between the third and fourth bearing stone, the gap for an access can be seen .
