Groove Rebels

Groove Rebels is a DJ team in the field of electronic dance music that consists of DJ Skai (from Chile) and the native Syrian Deekay (actually Amir Ad Fontes ).

They have been to clubs like U60311 and Cocoon Club . The two also played on the radio show Hr3 Clubnight .

At the beginning of their DJ career they played as residents in the Mainz club 50Grad .

The first tracks (2003) aroused the interest of Milk & Sugar Records, where the famous track Loose Yourself was released. The two also publish as solo artists or make remixes for artists like Kid Alex .

In 2005 the successful track " Untight " was released on the Munich label Great Stuff . Further productions appeared on labels such as Hammarskjoeld , Polo or Harthouse .

Amir Ad Fontes' solo release " Virtual Nature " on Big City Beats Recordings appeared in the German Club Charts and was licensed for Booka Shade 's DJ-Kicks Mix for! K7.

In 2006 the 5 years 50Grad mix compilation was released .
