The Gladbach mine is a former iron mine in the Bensberg ore district in Bergisch Gladbach . The site belongs to the city ​​center district . The request for encouragement with the name Gladbach on Eisenerz dates from March 15, 1864. The award took place on July 7, 1868. The Gladbach mine field covered the Neue Hope mine field and stretched from the Gohrsmühle along the Strunde to Gut Schiff. In the north it extended to the district Hebborn . The point of discovery was in the area where the Bergstrasse meets the Rommerscheider Strasse. With the later development all relics were destroyed. Nothing is known about the operating activities.
