Grubmühle is a wasteland in the municipality of Elsendorf in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim .
The place is in the Hallertau , about 2.5 km south of Elsendorf. The Abens , a tributary of the Danube, runs through the courtyard . From the connecting road between the neighboring villages of Ratzenhofen and Meilenhofen , a cul-de-sac branches off to the mill.
The Grubmühle was once an art mill and a sawmill , but now the farm is used for agriculture with a focus on hop growing . Until 2001, Grubmühle was an island company that supplied itself with water and electricity. A hydropower plant has been used since 2001. The grub mill draws drinking water from an Arteser well system .
