The Grubsee is a maximum 513 m long, maximum 25 m wide and maximum 8 m deep lake in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen ( Upper Bavaria ) in the area of the municipality of Krün north of Mittenwald . At the moor lake with an area of around 3.75 hectares there is a lido, bathing jetty, children's playground and a water slide. There are hiking trails to the town of Krün, to the Barmsee and Geroldsee lakes , each approx. 1 km away , as well as a circular route. The water temperature reaches a maximum of 26 ° C.
