Grupo Alfa is a listed Mexican conglomerate with headquarters in San Pedro Garza García , a suburb of Monterrey . Through its subsidiaries, the company operates in the fields of chemistry ( Alpek ), cast aluminum ( Nemak ), refrigerated and frozen food ( Sigma Alimentos ) and telecommunications ( Alestra ). In 2014, Alpek accounted for 38% of sales, Sigma for 32%, Nemak for 27% and Alestra for 2%.
