Life
The Archbishop of Poznan , Jerzy Stroba , ordained him a priest on May 24, 1979 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Selendeta and auxiliary bishop in Poznan on April 24, 1999 . The Archbishop of Posen, Juliusz Paetz , donated him the episcopal ordination on May 13 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Stanisław Napierała , Bishop of Kalisz , and Zdzisław Fortuniak , Auxiliary Bishop in Poznan. As a motto he chose In spiritu humilitalis .
