Guðrún Arnardóttir
Guðrún Arnardóttir (born September 24, 1971 ) is a former Icelandic hurdler .
She took part in the 400-meter hurdles twice in the Olympic Games. In 1996 in Atlanta she was eliminated in the semi-finals, in 2000 in Sydney she finished seventh in the final. She competed three times at World Athletics Championships. In 1993 in Stuttgart she was eliminated in the 100-meter hurdles in the preliminary round, in 1995 in Göteborg and 1997 in Athens she reached the semifinals over 400 meters hurdles. She won over 20 Icelandic championship titles on various sprint distances and won several games in the small states of Europe . In September 2014, Guðrún held a total of twelve national records in the hall as well as in the open air. Guðrún Arnardóttir is 1.76 m tall and had a competition weight of 70 kg.
