Gu Sung-yun ( kor. 구성윤 ; born June 27, 1994 in Pohang ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

society

Gu Sung-yun learned to play soccer in the school teams of Jaehyun Middle School and Jaehyun High School as well as in the youth team of Cerezo Osaka in Osaka . He also signed his first contract with the first division team in 2013. He was not used at Cerezo until the end of 2014. 2015 he moved to Sapporo on Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo . The club played in the second Japanese division, the J2 League. In 2016 he became champion with Saporro and rose to the first division . In 2019 he was with Saporro in the final of the J. League Cup , which they lost to Kawasaki Frontale on penalties.

National team

Gu Sung-yun played five times for the U22 national team . He wore the jersey of the Olympic selection six times . For the U23 he was on the field four times. He has been playing for the South Korean national team since 2019 . He made his international debut on September 5, 2019 in a friendly against Georgia at Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadı in Istanbul , Turkey .
