The Guber is a right tributary of the Łyna (German Alle ) in northeastern Poland in the former East Prussia region . The river was first mentioned as Gobrio in 1326 . The name is derived from the Prussian gubans, gubas : "go away, disappear, gone".
It rises in Jezioro Guber (Guber See) north of the city of Ryn (Rhine) at 126 meters above sea level. From here it flows in a north-westerly direction, passes the town of Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) and flows into the Łyna at Sępopol (Schippenbeil) . The river is about 73 km long.
