Gudrun Keussen

Gudrun Keussen (* 1920 ; † January 1, 2006 ) was a German children's book illustrator .

biography

Gudrun Keussen was born in Germany in 1920 and died on January 1, 2006, also in Germany. However, she is buried at Round Lake Cemetery in Aitkin County Minnesota . From around 1950 she illustrated several small-format children's books. The cardboard volume - children's books in the So leben wir ... series , published by the Munich Ars Sacra Verlag Josef Müller from 1961 onwards, became well known . In addition, she designed around 30 lovingly and detailed Advent calendars, which were published by Ars Sacra Verlag between 1953 and 1976.
