Gudrun Martha Lukin (born December 29, 1954 in Jena ) is a German politician and has been a member of the Thuringian state parliament of the Die Linke party since 2009 .

After graduating from high school in 1973 in Halle (Saale) , Lukin studied Marxist-Leninist philosophy in Rostov-on-Don from 1973 to 1978 . From 1978 she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Philosophy at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (FSU). She received her doctorate in 1985 on the development of the concept of philosophy in Plato and Aristotle at the FSU Jena.

Lukin joined the SED as early as 1973 . From 1984 she worked in the office of the Jena mayor. In 1991 she became a constituency employee of the PDS and in 1995 a regional employee in Thuringia. She became city councilor for the PDS in 1999 and was district chairman of her party from 2003 to 2009 (since 2007: Die Linke) in Jena. In 2004, 2009 and 2014 she was re-elected as city councilor. In the first round of the mayoral election in September 2006, she reached third place with 24.97%, 6.13% behind Christoph Schwind (CDU) and 1.55% behind the later winner of the runoff, Albrecht Schröter (SPD). In the state elections in Thuringia in 2009 , she ran as a direct candidate in the constituency of Jena II against the incumbent Thuringian Minister of Education, Bernward Müller and prevailed with 29.1%. She defended her direct mandate in the state elections in 2014 and 2019 .

She is honorary board member of the Jenaer Frauenhaus eV , as well as a member of ver.di and Help for the Children of Chernobyl eV She has been active in the Jena alliance against the law since 1999, in the Jena peace alliance from 2002 and in the, as a result of the Hartz-4 - Laws formed Jena alliance against social cuts. Since 2011 she has been chairwoman of the Landesverkehrswacht Thüringen e. V.
