The Guenelle is a river in France that runs in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It rises in the western municipality of Glannes , initially drains in an easterly direction and after about 2 kilometers, in the Vitry-le-François area , reaches the Marne valley . Here the Guenelle turns north-west and now accompanies the Marne River on its western bank. After a total of 30 kilometers, it finally flows into the Marne as a left tributary in the municipality of Mairy-sur- Marne.
