Guido Dahm

Guido Dahm (born June 8, 1955 in Saarbrücken ) is a German politician .

Life and career

After graduating as a sociologist in 1982, Dahm worked as a market researcher and freelancer for market research companies and, for a short time, as a research assistant at the University of Mannheim . In 1989 he took over the management of the Bildungswerk Rheinland-Pfalzischer Initiatives, which is part of the Heinrich Böll Foundation . He also worked as a social researcher for a consultant. He resigned from his position as managing director when he entered the state parliament. Since 2001 he has been running a financial consultancy in his home town of Ebertsheim .

politics

Dahm joined the Greens in 1983. In 1984 he moved into the district council of the Bad Dürkheim district for the first time . In the state elections in 1996 , he won a mandate in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament , which he held until the end of the 2001 electoral term. In the state parliament he was a member of the committee for education, science and further training and the committee for culture, youth and family. In 2009 he resigned from the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party .

He was also a member of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Bad Dürkheim-Grünstadt , the administrative board of the regional planning association Rhein-Neckar and the state youth welfare committee.
