Guido Mannari
Guido Mannari (born December 13, 1944 in Rosignano Marittimo , † July 10, 1988 there ) was an Italian actor .
Life
Mannari was discovered in 1969 by Mauro Bolognini ; until then he was playing lower-class football. After moving to Rome, he worked as a model - among other things, nude photos appeared in Libera magazine - and in films and should be built into a new teen idol. Mannari was also allowed to pull blank in his first major role in Gianni Buffardi's Number One . As an opponent of Fabio Testis in The Red Skirts , he established himself as a beautiful villain. In films by Pier Paolo Pasolini , Tinto Brass and Jacques Deray , however, he also showed acting talent instead of star potential and so did not even make 20 films. The macro becomes his most famous role in Caligula . After more demanding films, this was followed by simple action goods such as The Bulls on Hot Fire Chairs . He returned to his hometown in the mid-1980s.
