Guido Rohm

Guido Rohm (born August 26, 1970 in Fulda ) is a German writer , artist and satirist .

life and work

Rohm's debut, the short story volume No Traces , was published in 2009 by Seeling Verlag . The German-French writer and translator Georges-Arthur Goldschmidt wrote the foreword to the book.

In 2010 his first novel Blood is a River was published by the same publisher . He introduces the American cult author "Tom Torn", who is the main character of the novel, in the German-speaking countries. Guido Rohm writes essays and reviews for various online magazines such as www.evolver.at. Rohm also ran the literary weblog “Aus der Pathologie”, which was curated by litblogs.net .

Together with the artist Leszek Skurski he developed the project The Ultimate Truths . There were other collaborations with Frank Göhre and Alfred Harth. The novel Blutschneise was voted 2nd in the 2011 crime thriller. Since November 2015 he has been running the satirical YouTube channel Du kunst mich mal with the entertainer Marianne Blum . He has also been a permanent employee at Eulenspiegel since 2016 .

Rohm is a member of the syndicate and the PEN Center Germany .
