Guilherme Raymundo do Prado , called Guly , (born December 31, 1981 in Campinas ) is a Brazilian football player in the position of midfielder who has been without a club since the beginning of August 2015.

Player career

Do Prado began his career with the 2001/02 season at the Brazilian second division club Associação Portuguesa de Desportos . He then moved across the Atlantic to Italy, where he first played in the 2002/03 season for Catania Calcio before moving to Perugia Calcio for two seasons . From the 2005/06 season he was in the squad of Fiorentina . In the winter break of the 2006/07 season Do Prado was loaned to Spezia Calcio , in the 2007/08 season to AC Mantova . In the summer of 2008, the midfielder was signed by Pro Patria Calcio , the following year he signed with AC Cesena . After the 2009/10 season , he was promoted to Serie A with the club .

In August 2010 he moved to the English third division club Southampton FC on loan . After his convincing performances, the club signed him in January 2011 on a permanent contract basis. At the end of the 2010/11 season, do Prado reached promotion to the Football League Championship with his new team and, at the end of this season, further promotion to the Premier League . By the time he left the club in the summer of 2014, he had a record of 86 league games and 13 goals. After being out of a club for half a year, he joined the MLS franchise Chicago Fire in January 2015 . He left this after 15 goalless league appearances in early August 2015.
