The Airport Guilin Liangjiang ( ICAO code : ZGKL , IATA code : KWL ) ( Chinese 桂林两江国际机场 , Pinyin Guilin Liǎngjiāng Guoji Jīchǎng ; in the self-representation and Guilin Liangjiang International Airport ) is the airport of the city of Guilin in the autonomous region of Guangxi the Zhuang, People's Republic of China . It is located in the administrative area of the Liangjiang Municipality (两 江镇) of the Lingui District .
Flight operations and infrastructure
The airport can be approached 24 hours a day and is approved for both VFR and IFR traffic. It has a 3200 m long, 45 m wide concrete runway with an approximately north-south orientation (01/19). This is equipped with a PAPI and a CAT-I instrument landing system in both directions ; an NDB / DME - or VOR / DME - approach is also possible. To the east of the runway are the tower and the only terminal .
