Life

Guillaume Musso studied economics in Nice and Montpellier . At the age of 19 he fulfilled a dream: he traveled to New York . To finance his stay there, he worked as a cleaner in hotels and as an ice cream seller. When he was 15, Musso won a short story competition in school and from then on wanted to earn a living by writing. It was always important to him not to lose his groundedness as an artist, which is why he worked as a teacher until 2008 in addition to his writing activities.

Musso made his breakthrough as an author with his novel “Et après”, which was published in German in 2004 under the title “An Angel in Winter”. He got the idea for the book after surviving a serious car accident. The book topped the French bestseller lists for weeks, was translated worldwide and filmed with John Malkovich in the lead role. More books followed, with which Musso won an ever-growing fan base, “A heavenly encounter”, “Will you be there?”, “Because I love you”, “Never let me go” and finally “What would I be without you? ”and“ The paper girl ”.

Guillaume Musso is the best-selling French author after Marc Levy .
