In his Hollywood home on Taylor Street, Fiorino converted one of his rooms into a recording studio and soon after started his own small record label, Gulfstream Records. At first he sold gospel , latin and soul artists on this small company , and from the late 1950s onwards also rock 'n' roll and rockabilly . Well-known rockabilly musicians who recorded some legendary tracks on Gulfstream included the Frantics Four with TV Mama , Art Law with Kitty Kat Rock , Ross Minimi with Oh! Janet and Baby Rock , Ray Pate and the Rhythm Rockets with Lucky Day and My Shadow . Songs by Tommy Spurlin were also recorded in the Gulfstream Studio in 1956.
