Sean Gullette
Sean Gullette (born June 4, 1968 in Boston , Massachusetts , USA ) is a Tangier- based screenwriter and actor who received the first major international acclaim for his role in Darren Aronofsky's debut film Pi .
Sean Gullette's earliest film role was that of a madman in Darren Aronofsky's first short film Supermarket Sweep at Harvard University, which made it to the finals for the 'Student Oscar'. He was also seen in Nicole Zaray's Joe's Day with Deborah Harry , in which he depicts the sex change phase. In Pi , Gullette embodies the role of Maximillian Cohen, a troubled and withdrawn mathematical genius who searches for certain patterns in mathematics and their significance for the stock market . In addition to being the main cast of the film, he co-wrote the original script for the film and helped design the commercial website for the film. Gullette also starred as a psychiatrist with a small role in Aronofsky's film Requiem for a Dream . He also played a small role in Aronofsky's 2006 film The Fountain .
Gullette met Aronofsky at Harvard University . In 1991 he graduated from this university in literature with Magna Cum Laude . He learned the art of acting in London and New York City .
