Gulschanoi Satarowa ( Russian Гульшаной Сатарова , English transcription Gulshanoi Satarova; born September 1, 1992 ) is a Kyrgyz athlete who specializes in middle-distance running.

Athletic career

Gulschanoi Satarowa gained her first international experience at the 2013 Asian Championships in Pune , where she finished eighth over 800 meters and seventh over 1500 meters. In 2014, she took fifth place over 3000 meters at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou and fourth place with the Kyrgyz 4 x 400 meter relay. At the Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , she was seventh over 1500 meters and was eliminated over 800 meters in the prelim. In 2015 she finished fifth over 1500 meters at the Asian Championships in Wuhan and was eliminated again over 800 meters in the preliminary run. Two years later she finished ninth at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku over 1500 meters and did not make it into the final over 800 meters. At the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar she finished eighth over 1500 meters and did not make it into the finals there over 800 meters. At the beginning of September she won the silver medal at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with over 1500 meters and finished fourth over 800 meters.

In 2018 she took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where she won the silver medal over 3000 meters in 9: 48.03 minutes and shortly afterwards she took fourth place over 1500 meters. At the end of August, she again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she was eliminated over 800 meters in the preliminary run and finished ninth in the 1500 meter race in 4: 23.72 minutes. At the Asian Athletics Championships in Doha in 2019 , she finished ninth over 5000 meters in 16: 11.33 minutes and was eighth in the 1500 meter run in 4: 22.31 minutes.

In 2019, Satarova became the Kyrgyz indoor champion over 1500 and 3000 meters.
