Gunda Rachut (born August 11, 1965 in Osnabrück ) is a German lawyer and director of the Central Office for Packaging Register Foundation .

Life

After graduating from high school, Gunda Rachut studied law in Osnabrück and Strasbourg in France.

After a brief activity in the field of radio journalism, she became environmental officer of the Osnabrück student union. Afterwards she was board spokeswoman of the Ökoregio Institute and editor of the Ökoregio-Nachrichten. In 1993 she and other shareholders founded cyclos GmbH, an expert organization in the field of packaging disposal. She was a managing partner together with Agnes Bünemann for twenty years and also founded another consulting company, cyclos-future. In 2011 she was involved in both reports on the simulation game for the further development of the Packaging Ordinance. In 2012 she sold the shares in both companies.

Gunda Rachut is a certified alternative practitioner for psychotherapy with specialist training in traditional Chinese medicine, conversation psychotherapy, EMDR and bioresonance therapy.

From 2015 she was project manager project "Central Office" of the associations Federal Association of the German Food Industry , Industry Kunststoffverpackungen , trade association Germany , Markenverband (since January 2015) and then managing director of BHIM Central recyclables point Projekt GmbH (since September 2015). In 2017 she was appointed to the board of the Central Office for Packaging Register Foundation.

Rachut was appointed to the Association of German Scientists in 1995 . Since 1993 she has worked as an author on publications on the topics of recycling and the circular economy.

Gunda Rachut is divorced and has one son.
