Gunilla Süssmann
Gunilla Süssmann (born June 2, 1977 in Bergen , Norway ) is a Norwegian pianist .
Life
Süssmann began playing the piano at the age of six and won the Norwegian piano competitions in 1987 and 1995. She graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and then went to the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hanover , where she studied piano. In 1996 she took part as a finalist in the Eurovision Young Musicians competition of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). She recorded 15 CDs and performed with the Concertgebouw Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra , among others . In March 2017, Süssmann ended her career because of focal dystonia .

- 2012: Johannes Brahms: The Sonatas for Piano and Violoncello no. 2 in F major, Op. 99 and No. 1 in E minor, Op. 38 with Tanja Tetzlaff.
